Created in 2003 by Henri Grange, the company keeps on evolving. JM POLYMERS is dynamic and continually improving its knowledge and technology to supply high-quality products. The innovative company became among the market leaders in 2 complementary areas: mineral filled masterbatches and compounds, additive masterbatches.
Focusing on constant innovation, we designed and engineered our own compounding machines from the ground up in order to produce new-generation mineral filled plastic masterbatches based on a unique technology. Cacolin® and Talcolin® products offer a cost-effective, technical and environmentally-friendly solution. The latest step was to widen our range and supply some additive masterbatches in order to facilitate processing of polymers and enhance performances of finished products.
By following up on technical performance, we support our customers in their developments and widen our knowledge for new applications. Continually surveying the market, we are able to improve our products and provide the raw materials for every application and every manufacturing process. We adapt our formulations to your specifications in order to offer customized solutions.
Our research & development department as well as our quality control laboratory have all the latest equipment: Melt Flow Index meter, differential calorimetric spectrometer, IR spectrometer, moisture meter, oven, double weighing scales and filter tests are some of the devices employed. We do some tests on pellets but also on finished products, especially films. The following documents are available on request: Technical Data Sheet, Security Data Sheet, Food Conformity Certificates, REACH information. In-house audits can be organized at any time. We have obtained ISO9001 certification.
For a better environmental protection, the mineral fillers’ entity of JM POLYMERS measured its Carbon Footprint over the full year 2012. Our efforts are applied at all stages of the production chain to reduce our CO2 emissions. The compounding of mineral filled products enables partial replacement of polymers provided by the oil industry for a lower carbon footprint. They also reduce energy consumption. Cacolin® and Talcolin® are ecological products!

To complete lab lines put at disposal of our customers, and allow trials in various application fields, JM POLYMERS has purchased a calendering machine and a thermoforming equipment.

A double-screw compounding line, a film extruder, an injection press… are available for our customers to test their own formulations.
An ISO specialist joins the JM POLYMERS team to standardize our general processes in order to comply with the international ISO 9001 norm for Quality Management.
Our goal is to qualify at the beginning of 2016.
JM POLYMERS integrates a neighbouring company specialized in the manufacturing of additive masterbatches. The production team and lines are finally installed on our St Romain Lachalm site in September 2014.

In partnership with the registered institute APAVE, we have measured our Carbon Dioxide Footprint over the full year 2012. Manufacturing 1 kg of CACOLIN® generates 0,506 kg CO2e
